How would you live without electricity?

💡PONDERING💡 We’ve put together a series of “ponderings” which are our way of posing questions to look at things through a different lens or from another angle. Often we get a bit stuck in our perspective and need to shake this off and consider things differently. For example, how would you live without electricity? Access to electricity is now an afterthought in most parts of the world, so it may come as a surprise to learn that 16% of the world’s population (an estimated 1.2 billion people) are still living without something that many take for granted. Lack of access to electricity, or “energy poverty”, is the ultimate economic hindrance as it prevents people from participating in the modern economy. Source: Visual Capitalist.
